BUSINESS TIP OF THE DAY

You don't have to make all the mistakes yourself! This section has been designed to share the experiences of small business owners who have already been there. We hope that you find these hints and tips useful. If you would like to see more, we plan to add all tips received into the relevant subject from the list on the left of this page.

Passwords!
It may sound like an obvious one, you probably have to do it at work on a regular basis, but how often do you change you personal login details? We recommend changing your passwords around at least every few months. Try not to use personal data such as DOB, try to use different passwords for each account and get creative! Swap letters for numbers, use capitals and break things up with the odd ? or *. We also recommend you always log out of websites rather than just close the page down. It's better to be safe than sorry!
